Strike Marketing is an industry-leading marketing and advertising agency based in Houston’s historic Heights neighborhood. We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist for our digital marketing department. Our clients range from premier global brands like Cirque du Soleil to top local icons like the Houston Zoo.

Job Description

What does a Digital Marketing Specialist do?

This role requires a digital marketing professional with hands-on experience in paid digital marketing platforms, including Google, Meta, TikTok, and other similar platforms. With direction from the Digital Director and Project Managers, the Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for implementing campaigns, monitoring delivery, assisting with insights and reporting, and supporting the general needs of the digital department.

 

We’re seeking an organized self-starter who is versatile and can work effectively across multiple digital marketing channels within various industries. You’ll excel in this role if you are proactive and enjoy constant collaboration with team members to ultimately provide data-driven solutions.

 

Specific Duties

  • Implement digital marketing campaigns for the agency’s clients while coordinating with other department team members daily to ensure seamless campaign execution

  • Responsible for in-platform campaign builds  

  • Execute, support, and maintain optimizations for campaigns as needed 

  • Lead reporting and analytics deliverables for clients 

  • Responsible for campaign optimizations and recommendations 

  • Execute Tag Management and Implementation from start to finish 

  • Professionally represent and be an advocate for Strike Marketing and its clients

  • Collaborate with agency staff to complete all tasks required for clients

  • Complete all other duties as assigned

 

Required skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year university with a focus in marketing, communications, or a similar field

  • 2-4+ years digital marketing experience (agency experience a plus)

  • Concentration in hands-on ad platform experience required

  • Comprehensive knowledge of basic digital marketing tools and principles

  • Ability to comprehend analytical campaign data to identify areas of improvement

  • Google Ads certification required

  • Google Analytics certification required

  • Google Tag Manager experience is a plus

  • Demonstrated commitment to the principles of teamwork and shared responsibility

  • Ability to multitask and meet simultaneous deadlines
